"Time flies. It's been twenty years since I first picked up a scale rule and opened the pages of my trusty old SMM7.

It is fair to say I was somewhat 'thrown in at the deep end' in my first job as a Trainee Quantity Surveyor but I loved it from day one. The experiences gained taking-off for Bills of Quantities, counting bricks on site and filling in JCT Contracts in my early years have proven to be invaluable.

Having become a Chartered Quantity Surveyor in 2010, I now enjoy working in the residential sector, with a particular specialism in affordable housing.

My role is varied, from cost consultant and more traditional Quantity Surveying, to Employers Agent and Contract Administrator. 

​

The majority of my clients are either Registered Providers or regional developers across the South West.

I have a wealth of experience in land led and 'Section 106' projects, from small scale redevelopments to joint ventures with PLC developers. Project values range from £250k to £25m+.

Additionally my project portfolio includes specialist supported housing, extra care and care homes as well as estate regeneration.

​

I take great pride in providing a very high quality of service and strive for continuous improvement.

I have always felt it important to enjoy the work I do and try to seek out interesting opportunities. Indeed this was the driver for me joining Frank Timothy Associates in 2018 and as Director, I am genuinely excited about this new Chapter in my career."
